On March 10, 2014, 48 retired members who used to work for BC TEL at the company’s ST&B Building on 10th Avenue in Burnaby, met for a reunion luncheon in Surrey.

 

The “shops” housed the metal, carpentry, fabrication, electrical, and automotive shops as well as phone repair and purchasing.

 

The people at the luncheon enjoyed catching-up with old friends and reminiscing.

 

This is an annual function which is usually held in March. The organizers are hoping to expand the event next year and are looking to get in touch with all others who used to work at 10th Avenue, as well as I&R, and operator services.
